While watching few of his cousins and friends join newly into the job, Vidyut has been waiting for his turn to join an organization. Though there is a joy in joining a new work place, Vidyut is keen about knowing about organization ethics which he should follow and hence tries to get this information from few of his friends. Here is some of the key bulleted list of points from Vidyut’s diary.

Getting started:

During college days, there would be many occasions where you would have taken “An easy go” or “I do not care” attitude. But at work place, this attitude should never be taken. View your work as worship. Get interested and know about your company’s mission, objective, goals of your team, organization structure and show a serious attitude towards work. Learning the mission and vision of your company could be the first step, followed by your group’s tasks or activities. Read More

Have you been sitting there a really long time? Have your calls gone unreturned? Maybe it’s time to take a closer look at your resume.

Please – no sighing allowed. I know you’ve heard it all before and you’re probably really tired of even looking at your resume. Everything is kind of running together to where you don’t know if your resume is up to par or not. That’s why you need…

If you’re inclined in mathematics just like the accountants you could have agreed with that line. Being a fresh graduate who’s not inclined with writing, then writing an accounting cover letter may be that hard for you. So we’ll write your accounting cover letter in a step by step process. I am pretty sure that you are familiar with the term marketing? Well in business this means the presentation made for a certain product in order for it to be patronized in the market.

In reality the purpose of accounting cover letter is somewhat similar to marketing, wherein the letter serves as the presentation. But the only difference was that in an accounting cover letter you don’t present a product but yourself. If you see advertisements those are forms of marketing strategies, you may have noticed that they tend to exaggerate things; they use bright colors and famous celebrities just to catch the attention of the audience. Obviously you can’t apply those in accounting cover letters because the only thing that you can use is the power of words. Yet you just can’t underestimate words because if mastered it can be of good help for you in grabbing the attention of your possible employer. <a href="http://jobsatonline.blogsome.com/wp-admin/You need to do everything by the number.
PIKETON — “Nuclear” isn’t synonymous with “jobs,” said one activist in Pike County Saturday night.

A handful of people, including noted author and activist Lois Gibbs, gathered for an intimate town meeting with speakers who touched on topics ranging from the Global Nuclear Energy Partnership to newly discovered earthworks near the Department of Energy reservation.

“Moving (spent nuclear fuel rods) at all is a tremendously risky opportunity for God knows what to happen,” said Mary Olson, director of Nuclear Information and
Resource Service’s southeast office.

One of 11 sites to be chosen for review for GNEP, the Piketon Uranium Enrichment plant could be home to a program officials say will recycle spent fuel rods and convert them to new fuel for nuclear power plants. Read More

Send a Reminder

If you are a professional work from home writer, you certainly have a day planner. Make a note to yourself to send a reminder if payment for a project is not received on time. The first reminder should be friendly. Reattach the invoice and email it with a note like, “Hi, just wanted to remind you that payment on this project is now past due.”

Send Additional Reminders

A week after the first reminder, send a sterner email: “Payment on this product is now overdue. I will be unable to complete any more work for you until the invoice is paid in full. Please pay immediately.” If you haven’t already, cease work on other professional work from home jobs assigned by this client. Continue sending reminders once a week for one month. Read More

Economic reports released last week offered no fresh news on the housing front. The existing home sales revealed a 0.3% dip to 5.99 million units, with weakness centered mainly on sales of existing single-family homes. The recent month’s reading marked the lowest level since June 2003. The inventories of new homes rose to represent a supply of 8.9 months, while the median existing home prices declined from a year-ago.

New home sales fell to 915,000 from a downwardly revised reading of 930,000 for April. However, the median price of new homes increased in May. Notwithstanding a decline in the recent month, inventories of new homes remain high by historical standards. Meanwhile, the S&P/Case-Shiller home price index, which measures the changes in the value of the residential market in 20 metropolitan regions in the U.S., released yesterday revealed a 2.7% decline in April from the year-ago period. The pace of decline marked the fastest in about 16 years. Read More
